Oversize Bag: Any bag exceeding 120 dimensional inches will be charged an additional $50 per bag, per leg of trip.
Overweight Bag: Any bag exceeding 50 lbs., will be charged an additional $50 per bag, per leg of trip.
Oversize and Overweight Bag: Any bag exceeding 120 dimensional inches and is over 50 lbs., will be charged an additional $75 per bag, per leg of trip.

2026 Pricing for Out-of-State, Out-of-South Florida Area, or any bags transported to or from camp via UPS –

Extra Large Duffel Bags and/or Overweight Duffel Bags EXCEEDING CARRIER STANDARD DIMENSIONS

Bags exceeding the carrier standard dimensions of 17,280 cubic inches and/or 50 lbs. in weight are subject to the standard shipping charge, listed above, plus an additional carrier surcharge of $220 per bag, per leg of trip.

(Please note that the surcharge from the carrier is non-negotiable)

Optional Shipment Value Protection:
Your camper's bags are automatically insured for $100 limited liability per bag. Additional insurance can be purchased per bag. (Click here for Extra Value Protection Costs)

COLOSSAL/EXTRA-LARGE DUFFEL BAGS are NOT permitted for shipment into Blue Star Camps due to the physical requirements and financial costs associated with managing these bags.

Recent 2026 tariff changes have made the shipment of Colossal or Extra-Large Bags extremely cost- prohibitive to Integrated Freight Logistics (ShiptoCamp), Blue Star Camps & our camper families. As a direct result, any bag shipped through ShiptoCamp exceeding 17,280 cubic inches will result in charges assessed to the camper family at an additional cost of $220 plus, per bag, per leg, depending on the shipping zone.

Cubic inches are calculated as follows:

Length x Width x Height = less than 17,280 (when fully packed)

ACCEPTABLE BAGGAGE DIMENSIONS for transport to/from Blue Star Camps are: 36” x 16” x 16” up to 40” x 20” x 20” not exceeding 17,280 total cubic inches and 50 lbs.

For South Florida Residents Only, pickup is included with your baggage shipping costs.

For Residents Outside of South Florida, baggage can be picked up for an additional cost of $28 by the carrier or you may plan to drop baggage off at a local carrier facility and have the $28 charge waived.

Please note, any local resident and out of area family requiring special “to camp” pickup or special return services “from camp” will be charged a $28 carrier pickup fee .
